Does any candidate have the courage to critically analyze the rot being taught in the Liberal Arts on American campuses of 'Higher Education' from which all true educators are purged?

You and your buddies have suffered and many have died for our right to have this discussion. Thank you for clarifying the "entitlement" for us. What is entitlement?. When I was born there was no such thing as entitlement. Then under F.D.R. social security was started. From my very first job I was required to pay into social security with the expectation that in the future when I got to old to work I would be able to collect benefits to help with my living expenses. That was a contract between the government and me. A benefit which they owe me, to which I am entitled. At the time Lyndon Johnson became president, his administration began what they called the Great Society. Now the social security benefits that we paid for are lumped in with all the great society benefits and called entitlements because our politicians democrats, republicans, Obama and educators alike are all too irresponsible to face their fiscal responsibility to differentiate between that which the government owes to those who paid in and those who just have their hand out. You just cannot dip into social security and not put the money back from somewhere else in the budget. We could quit sending all the AID money to foreign countries. Our job is to look after America. Put all that money back into the Social Security system which has been robbed for years.. If big American companies want to do business in other countries they should pay for the cost of embassies or whatever is required to do business there without any tax deduction for it. Remember every tax deduction comes from some tax payer‘s pocket. We need honest politicians on both sides of the aisle. There aren’t many right now.. As a veteran of the Korean (8 years of required service) war, I am of the opinion that we (America) should bring back all our troops from all over the world. The troops would still have jobs, just in this country which would help our economy. Spend all those paychecks in this country. We should defend this country not be out attacking other countries as Sen. John Mc Cain would and trying to tell them how to run their affairs. Mr. Romney the establishment favorite son like Mr. McCain is a RINO.

Diane, when you think of the thing called trinity, think of how we were created in the image of our creator. What are we? We are mind, body and spirit but we are not three, we are one. The Father is the great intelligence, Yeshua/Jesus is his physical body, and the comforter is his spirit...not three but one. Read the fourth Gospel, John, first chapter and you will see that Yeshua Ha Mashiah is in fact the very God, and creator the trinity alludes to.

To be a good Catholic start reading the Bible for yourself and do not get all of your information filtered through a preacher or Priest. Church, by the way is not a building or organization it is a people. There are two names that Jesus invented for those he called the first called are "Israel", the second group is called "church". The first church was not in Rome and it had no gentiles in it only Jews. The head of the Church was James, Jesus brother. Peter was a layman. It was Peter that Jesus told to go to the house of Cornelius to tell him about salvation and it was here that the gentiles first came in. Read the book of Acts, (fifth book in New Testament).

Notice how alive the Church was compared to the enemic thing you have experienced. The true Church is Messianic and is composed of Christians and Jews. See if you can locate a Messianic congregation near you and go experience it.

Let us not speak of rights when it comes to healthcare. A government benefit is called an entitlement when the government grants it to all citizens.

Our rights are given to us by no human being, not even by the Constitution; they are endowed by our Creator. That is why they are recognized as unalienable.

"Basic healthcare," as our well-meaning liberal counterparts put it, is therefore an entitlement that is available to everyone that is willing to secure that entitlement. That does not mean that others have to go out of their way to provide anything to anyone, especially if doing so would violate their actual RIGHT to exercise their religion freely. It is my opinion that the president has violated the Constitution. The reason is that our lack of quality education has produced an understanding between a candidate (Obama) who cannot understand the Constitution and a majority of Americans who can't either. A person needs to be able to think and read well to understand the vast difference between an entitlement and an individual, unalienable right.

When we start believing that entitlements are rights, then we have surrendered our actual rights to the government. In such a circumstance, when the government "gives" a right, they can also take it away and they can dictate they way you exercise that right. We should always reject the notion that the government can give us a right. Our rights were recognized by our Founding Fathers and spelled out in the Constitution by a movement of the People because they understood that governments of the ages, as they inevitably gain power, will inevitably attempt to deny those rights. In reality, our individual rights were spelled out in no uncertain terms in order to defend us from the government, and it should stay that way.

Issue an executive order prohibiting public schools from discriminating against experienced and effective teachers based on their lack of "certification" or so-called "education" training.

In my opinion, this is the greatest and most fundamental problem in our society. It should be very simple: if you want to learn to fix a car you are going to ask a mechanic to teach you because he or she has proven that they can do it. You are no going to ask
someone who has learned theories and read books about how to fix a car.

Why would we reject, for example, a true mathematician who has demonstrated his or her ability to do math at a high level, who understands the fundamentals and their origins and how math skills are applied, who has made breakthroughs and discoveries in math or physics, who has demonstrated the excitement and interpersonal skills necessary to be an effective classroom teacher to teenagers or even pre-teens simply because he has not spent endless hours playing with theories on how to run a classroom.

It is morally wrong to deprive our youth from this experience, and it needs to be changed. This simple change alone may save our country. It's impact will reverberate throughout our democracy. It will allow our populace to become analytical thinking citizens who can read, communicate, and think well and thereby be able to learn and develop for a lifetime -- and will thereby have some basis on which to vote and choose their leaders. We will have teachers who can actually read and understand the Constitution and the Declaration and their origins. We will have teachers in middle schools who have Ph.D.'s and master's degrees in the arts and sciences who are excited to return to the seeds of their own intellectual development and give back by jump starting young minds.

With such an executive order we will eliminate a bureaucracy that stifles creativity and rewards mediocrity. The only way we are going to restore America is to touch the minds of our youth and remind them that they were born to be creators and thereby live lives of significance, that they were born to add value to the lives of others. This is the core of our democracy. This is what our Founding Fathers envisioned. Let's never again have a president that complains about the Founding Fathers and whines about the Constitution he has sworn to uphold but apparently has never read. Let us not forget that he himself was a product of our predominant system of "education" and unfortunately so were the misguided and impressionable people who we allowed by our own negligence to elect him.

Please include this in our Contract, Mr. Speaker. I have read both the '94 Contract and the 21st Century Contract which I completely agree with, but I can think of nothing simpler, more important, or indeed more urgent.

Let's Prohibit public schools from discriminating against proven great teachers on the basis of certification or on the basis of education courses or degrees. There are millions of great minds (young and old) out there who are pioneers in the arts and sciences who are proven to be spectacularly effective teachers as evidenced by their students' massive achievement and mastery of academic skills. They may have attained their experience teaching in colleges or private schools that do no require any education degrees or credits. Let's allow these light bearers to stoke the flames of our youth. Let's return the vast majority of our population to the status of "Citizen," not just in name but in actuality. This is the restoration and salvation of ours, the greatest Democracy of the ages.

I ask you to include this, Mr. Speaker, because you are the only candidate who has a deep understanding of this concept. You understand what the Founding Fathers meant by "Freedom."

Jobs, finances,wars and even rumors of war do not matter one iota. Who is the one candidate that is speaking from our God's perspective? It is the one that said our embassy needs to be moved from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem. It is the candidate that said these freaks stealing Israels land is an invented people.

This candidate is not a moron like most Americans seem to be these days,tossed to the wind and tied to TV's for what they think yet having zero grasp on what is actually relevant!

We Nationally threw God out of our lives when we allowed the Communist organization "ACLU" to throw Prayer and Bible reading out of schools. What was the result? The increase in every type of degrading evil, teen pregnancies, drugs, crimes and the death of the family was the result and their goal. We allowed it.

If we will humble ourselves and call on the name of the Lord and repent, he will heal our land.. We need to organize and pray the words of the Great Prophet Daniel 9:5-19 daily until we get our nation back or in the alternative go back home fold our hands and go back to sleep because we don't deserve Newt, we deserve to get that filthy Muslim devil back in our White House!

Expose them all!  Newt needs to take the lead on this, to get in the lead for the GOP Nomination as the people's choice. We are all winners when Obama is fully vetted out. The people will then view Mitt as Obama Lite.

Please back off the fighting with Mr. Romney and take the fight to Obama's radical policies.  The bickering is potentially costing you valuable support.  Mr. Romney makes me uneasy and we need a better choice than him.  That would be you, sir.

The below is taught at Roosevelt High School in Iowa. this is their replacement for teaching civics. They have posted fylers in the classroom that depict Capitolism and Socialism.                       

The CAPITALISM side of the flyer shows workers in tattered clothing, chained to a machine that

delivers all of the money produced to a cigar-smoking man who is also much better dressed.

Over on the COMMUNISM side, there is no boss and the smiling workers are better dressed,

don’t have chains on their legs and the money goes back to them.

Think about this, its lunch time so the schools responsibily is to feed the children. After lunch dion't let them have recess, have them listen to these teachings.

you are on point in regard to sticking to the issues of the destruction of the economy and our school systems. I view this problem as a  basic 101 solution for beging to put this country back on the constitutional track.

We have allowed in our school systems that the 10 commandments be taken from the viewing of our children, so therefore their is no dialoge about them.

The school systems no longer teach basic civics for knowing how the government was intended  to serve use..

So if the school systems eliminate a basic do's and don't list how could you expect to teach/motovate children to become self suficient and moral citizens.

Remember it starts early and stealthy if you want to create a political voting base of useful idiots. Once you have 2 generations of uninformed children and young adults you have your lemming voter base in place for dependancy on the governments.

If you allow the schools to eliminate all job trade instructions as Wood shop, Metal & fab shop, Auto shop, and Home economics, you now have a generation of high school students not ready to enter the work force for a career the doesn't require a college degree.

To me it is always the forgotten 101s that can be a guide for the corrective cource to be taken.

I forgot to add the media unemployment statements and the one stat they won't report because their math may not add up.

MEDIA brag, The US economy generating 243,000 new jobs while the unemployment rate dropped to 8.3 percent, according to government data released Friday.

Media omission, But, the real unemployment rate, which measures discouraged workers as well nudged lower to 15.1 percent.

How are we ever going to have an educated voter base if the unemployment rates are not accuratly reported. Yes, report the 8.3% number but also state what that number is a result of.

Don't use new math or million man march math, us only basic math.

"1.2 million people dropped out of the labor force in one month! So as the labor force increased from 153.9 million to 154.4 million, meaning, those not in the labor force surged from 86.7 million to 87.9 million. Which means that the civilian labor force tumbled to a fresh 30-year low of 63.7% as the BLS is seriously planning on eliminating nearly half of the available labor pool from the unemployment calculation.

The issues are the destruction of the economy, the destruction of American productivity, the long-term and increasing ruin of American 'education' by feminism, relativism and busy work and 'teachers' who have a BS 'degree' in 'Education.' Change this if you want to bring back America.

No one should be allowed to teach unless they have at least a BA degree in the subject they are teaching. Half of teachers, at least, should be men. That is probably as important as anything.
