How much longer do we have to endure the missing element of Amendment X to the US Constitution?
Thus far it has been Mitt Romney over and over again on eliminating Obamacare by an Act of Congress he would sign; and now Rick Santorum chimes in. Both claim Amendment X is a States Rights amendment which is not entirely true.

The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the states, are reserved to the states respectively, or to the people.
Maybe now that Mister Newt is more relaxed and enjoying the debates with Romney and Santorum blistering each other, Mister Newt could get back on the Road that I think all Republicans and especially Conservatives and Tea Party members would enjoy and applaud with much vigor:
The last 4-words of Amendment X stipulate "or to the people".
In other words the flow down from the Constitution is powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the states, are reserved to the states respectively, "or to the people".
Since the Obamacare goes before the US Supreme Court for review and the plaintiffs won the case in Florida Federal District Court where it was declared entirely Unconstitutional primarily because it violates the Commerce Clause in the Constitution and now there is a violation of the First Amendment and Religious Freedom, to me it be clear that NO STATE can pickup similar Health Care legislation violating the same as what the United States violated. We soon should hear from the US Supreme Court.
Thus Mandatory Health Care Insurance in Massachusetts be likely unconstitutional if the US Supreme Court rules Obamacare is unconsitutional.
My Point is Mister Newt may want to remind everyone Amendment X is only possibly a States rights amendment, OR it falls to The People.
The People have more rights to their own Health Care Insurance than any Local Government, State or the United States!
Hearing that from Mister Newt would set the proper tone of the Republican Party.
- Limit the United States and States to the US Constitution.
- Reduce the size of Federal and State governments.
- Let The People decide their own choices on Health Care Insurance, and especially whether they buy it or not.
