So Ron Paul's camp played their tricks again.... At the caucus, The Dead Pelican had volunteers handing out fliers to folks saying that our slate was slate 6 (a Ron Paul Slate) and that Romney's slate was Slate 1 (A Ron Paul Slate) Then somehow, the Times Picayune reported the story as well. Even after all of my emails that stated our slate was slate number 2, they reported our slate as unknown and unidentified. That should fire you all up, and you should write a letter to the Times Picayune to complain about misleading the public via false information. Furthermore, I encourage you all to boycott the Dead Pelican for the same reasons. Misleading the public is an atrocity and unethical. Any "news source" that prints false or misleading information should be held accountable.

LA GOP Caucus 2012

The Republican Party of Louisiana will be conducting caucuses on April 28, 2012 in 30 different locations across the state for the purpose of electing delegates to the Republican Party of Louisiana State Convention.  In accordance with party rules, Louisiana voters affiliated with the Republican Party on or before December 15, 2011 with a valid Louisiana ID are eligible to participate in the caucuses.

Caucus voting will be conducted between 8:30 a.m. and 12:00 noon. Any qualified voter who is in line at noon will be allowed to vote. Voters are not required to stay for a meeting in order to vote. Voters will elect 25 delegates and 12 alternates from their new congressional districts. Each person may cast votes for up to 25 candidates for delegate and up to 12 candidates for alternate.
