How to Organize Your Online State Group

The grassroots campaign to elect Newt Gingrich as our next President will not be a top down campaign and you do not need permission to do anything.  NewtGingrich360.com is here to facilitate and support the bottom up grassroots effort.

The following are suggestions for how to organize your State Group.   Our end goal is to be organized on a County by County basis and the sky is the limit for what we can do.  No idea is too small.

1. Nominate a State Director

  • Create a 2 Discussion Threads for State and Local Directors
  • Email the Whole Group About the Thread
  • Volunteer, Nominate and let the Group Decide.
  • Allow Self Appointment if there is only one volunteer in the State.
  • The point is to get going.  A good plan today is better than a perfect plan tomorrow.

2. The State Director Should Host a Statewide Conference Call

  • Use the Email tool to email the entire Group with the information
  • Ask for Area Directors to Volunteer
  • Allow Self Appointment if there is only one volunteer in an Area.  The point is to get going.  A good plan today is better than a perfect plan tomorrow.

3. Have a Statewide Outreach and Recruiting Strategy

  • Personal Relationships
  • Social Media
  • Invite Tool on this Site

4. National and Regional Directors Create a Continual Organizational Plan

  • Conference Calls (suggested weekly on each level)
  • Watch Parties
  • Personal Meetings
  •  NewtGingrich360 Discussions, Blogs and Forums Nationally and Statewide.

5. Contact Brandon for Help and Support… but not for permission

Romney is a winner now. Why? because we must beat obama. I lost two so-called conservative friends yesterday. Why? They said they would not work to defeat obama or help Romney. I said "You want Obama Prez for life." They replied, "we will use our guns." I said: "If you don't use your brains now, you won't use guns when the crap hits the fan. That's what I have learned as a survivalist." I see those two as losers, little men, who will not adapt to save our country until the day Newt is elected. If obama takes over in 2012, Newt and I will wind up in a prison camp. Don't be a media serf, beat Obama now.

Who will join me in Knoxville next week to set up a plan to defeat obama and divide up the work?

Go Newt! Don't give up. Romney is a loser.

Bassmaster Founder Ray Scott Endorses Newt Gingrich for President

March 10, 2012

Montgomery, AL – Today Bass Angler Sportsman Society Founder Ray Scott endorsed Republican presidential candidate Newt Gingrich for president.

Ray Scott is the founder of the Bass Anglers Sportsman Society (BASS), which he created in 1968 and which became the world’s largest fishing organization with over half a million members. As the godfather of modern bass fishing, he created the first national bass tournament trail (the Bassmaster Tournament Trail), Bassmaster Magazine, The Bassmasters television show and the BASS Federation. He is also recognized for his important contributions to conservation, the environment and boating safety. Scott is also the founder of the Whitetail Institute of North America.

“I am proud to support Newt Gingrich for President,” said Scott. “I share Speaker Gingrich’s commitment to conservative ideas and principles and to getting Alabama and our great country back on the right track.”

Newt 2012 Alabama State Chair Senator Jabo Waggoner today said, “Speaker Gingrich and I are proud to welcome Ray Scott to the campaign team. With his help, we look forward to a great success in Alabama on Tuesday.”

Scott joins another Alabamian, former Miss America Heather Whitestone McCallum, in support of Gingrich’s campaign.

Hey to Cynthia Banks,   I thought you were the big one on the prayer team for Newt & was so wanting to connect w/ you, but got scared off the site when you were responding to my Q's on donations.  I hope we can connect & support one another.

Hope to see you ,Jim Buscini on Newt'snetwork!  So glad Jim Stansbury is on this thread to help direct you & donors so Newt can get all the money we can eek out to him RIGHT NOW!  Jim is the National Phone Team Leader for Newtsnetwork & I'm under him as a phone team ldr in CO.  Can't wait to get you on board!!!

Comment by Marty M on March 10, 2012 at 12:17pm

Karol Hancock - THANK YOU, THANK YOU for hearing my heart :) on wanting to make sure all of us Newt supporters make sure donations intended for him get to him !  I think others didn't like my questions on donations, but that makes me wonder why it is insulting if we are supporting Newt & one another - it's a very legitimate Q.  In my defense,  I estabished this as my political email, but have been emergency operating on my old email, so didn't get these great answers from you & several who tried to help me.  I'm not quite computer literate as anyone can imagine, homeschooling & investing every ounce of my mentoring time into our kids (who are great people, I guess because their family loves them w/ their time :)  I hope I can stay in the thread now & then: I'm volunteering hrs. per day w/ Newtsnetwork to establish a good ph. team in CO for Newtsnet. So glad to know wht happens w/ our donation at 360 - but still want all supporters here to keep directing all to avoid confusion.  Hoped to join the prayer team on 360, am hopefully making it to a prayer team for Newt tonight. This wild lion profile represents the beloved C.S. Lewis' Aslan & Gingrich's genious bravery w/ The Lion behind him, to face what Newt's up against for the sake of the godly.

Newt 2012 Announces Women with Newt Coalition

February 21, 2012

Women With NewtSeveral prominent female leaders and activists from across the country have signed on to lead the official Women’s Coalition for Newt Gingrich’s Presidential Campaign.
The Women with Newt National Coalition will be led by Callista Gingrich, wife of Newt Gingrich and President of Gingrich Productions, a multimedia production company. A tireless campaigner, Callista has accompanied Newt across the country speaking to various women’s groups and conservative organizations.

“Over the last several months, I have had the privilege of visiting with many wonderful women across the country — learning about their concerns and hopes for our future. My husband is the only candidate with the experience, knowledge, and vision to get our country back on the right track,” said Gingrich.

Gingrich will lead a team of 6 national co-chairs, including Sue Lynch, President Emeritus of the National Federation of Republican Women, Jeri Thompson, a renowned political commentator and wife of Senator Fred Thompson, Gay Hart Gaines, a long-time Republican activist and former chairman of GOPAC, Linda Upmeyer, Iowa House of Representatives Majority Leader, and Newt’s daughters, Kathy Gingrich Lubbers, an entrepreneur, and Jackie Gingrich Cushman, a nationally syndicated columnist and author.

This coalition will assist Gingrich in engaging with thousands of women across the country.

Jeri Thompson, a national co-chair, explained that the coalition’s mission is forward-looking.

“This election is a referendum on the failed decisions and failed policies of an Obama Administration that without new, strong leadership, will leave our children and our grandchildren with a land of less opportunity and less freedom. For me and other mothers, joining this coalition is less a political move than a maternal one.”

Gay Hart Gaines, also a national co-chair, expanded upon Thompson’s sentiment. “In my opinion, there is no one better at upholding American Exceptionalism and articulating conservative values than Newt Gingrich. Newt has always stood above the rest when it comes to his ability to inspire and lead the conservative movement.”

In the coming weeks, the coalition will be announcing several regional advisors in Tennessee, Texas, Georgia, California, and Ohio.

Your donations do not go to Newt from this page. Fact.

Comment by Karol Hancock on March 8, 2012 at 6:11am

Marty M, if you donate from this page, you will receive a "thank you" from Amy Pass.  She works directly with Newt.  If you sign up to volunteer, support and donate to the campaign you will also receive invitations from Amy or a few others to join in on Teleconference calls with Newt.  There is a Teleconference call today at 7PM.  We had one Tuesday with Herma Caine and Newt at 4:30 PM/  You will find that Newt and his staff keep in touch almost daily with up dates.  I have ordered the Volunteer kit from this site, it has the yard sign, bumper stickers, buttons, T shirt, Cap and several other things I can not remember.  Since I did not start the site, I can not explain what the title stands for.  Sorry
